My name is Andrew T. Holm. I live in Paradise, NL with my wife Deidre and two kids (Rae and Pierson), and our Australian Shepherd (Batman). Over the last number of years we’ve had the pleasure of pastoring local churches and leading senior living communities.
Since leaving Bethel Bay Roberts, as lead pastors, in the earlier part of 2018, we’ve come to realize that God has placed us in a very unique place of ministry. We are really excited to find out how God will use our giftings and abilities in the days ahead!
I graduated in 2008 with a BBA from Memorial University and later, in 2012, with a MTS in Pentecostal Studies from Tyndale Seminary in Toronto, ON. Deidre also graduated from Tyndale in 2012 with a BA in Biblical Studies and Theology, majoring in Pentecostal Studies. We are both enjoying our ministry in the St. John’s area and
continue to be amazed at what God has done and what God has in store for the area!
I grew up in the Pentecostal faith and many of my theological thoughts and beliefs are through a Pentecostal lens. That being said, one of my passions is to engage in positive theological conversations that help grow the Kingdom of God! I hope everything I write will help inspire those who read it.
The purpose of this blog is two-fold: (1) to examine, expand, and engage the material that we present in sermons and Bible studies; and (2), to respond, with a Christian response, to current situations in the world. You can read why I blog by clicking here. My hope and prayer is that this blog will not only offer information, but help us journey together.
For the Kingdom,
