About

Hi there,

My name is Andrew T. Holm.  I live in Bay Roberts, NL with my wife Deidre and two kids (Rae and Pierson), where we are lead pastors of a local assembly (Bethel Pentecostal Church). Over the past number of years, Deidre and I have completed our education.  I graduated in 2008 with a BBA from Memorial University and later, in 2012, with a MTS in Pentecostal Studies from Tyndale Seminary in Toronto, ON. Deidre also graduated from Tyndale in 2012 with a BA in Biblical Studies and Theology, majoring in Pentecostal Studies.  We are both enjoying our ministry in Bay Roberts andbio-pandrew-circle continue to be amazed at what God has done and what God has in store for the area!

I grew up in the Pentecostal faith and many of my theological thoughts and beliefs are through a Pentecostal lens. That being said, one of my passions is to engage in positive theological conversations that help grow the Kingdom of God! I hope everything I write will help inspire those who read it.

The purpose of this blog is two-fold: (1) to examine, expand, and engage the material that we present each week in sermons and Bible studies; and (2), to respond , with a Christian response, to current situations in the world.  You can read why I blog by clicking here.  My hope and prayer is that this blog will not only offer information, but help us journey together.

For the Kingdom,
Pastor AtH

  • A lifelong Catholic, I aodbanned faith all together during my early college years. But like Augustine, I burned to know real truth, the only antidote to the empty pain in my heart and mind. Surprisingly, it was through the patience and prayers of an Assembly of God minister that brought me back to faith, and then through the young Charismatic Renewal that swept the Catholic Church in the 70s that brought me full circle back home. If you seek the truth He finds you! I thoroughly enjoy your blog!
